Dr. Colleen

Dr. Zidu Zeng is a prosthodontist, a dental specialist dedicated to restoring both the

esthetics and function of the smile with the highest standard of care.

She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr

College, one of the historic Seven Sisters colleges. During her studies, she was

awarded the prestigious Elizabeth S. Shippen Scholarship in Science as the sole junior

selected across all majors in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geology. She went on to

earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree magna cum laude from Boston University

Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received a rare merit-based

scholarship. Dr. Zeng then completed three years of advanced specialty training in

Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of

Pennsylvania. Her comprehensive training equipped her to manage the full spectrum of

complex prosthetic and surgical treatments, including veneers, crowns, bridges,

dentures, dental implants, and full-arch rehabilitations such as all-on-x.

Passionate about advancing the field, Dr. Zeng has been extensively involved in

prosthodontic research. She has served as a Session Chair at the International

Association for Dental Research (IADR), the world’s largest dental research

organization. Her commitment to excellence in both clinical practice and research has

been recognized with multiple awards, including the IADR Kulzer Travel Award, the

ACP Education Foundation Research Fellowship, and the ACCE Junior Investigator

Award. In addition, she contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for

leading journals such as the Journal of Prosthodontics and the International Journal of

Prosthodontics.

Dr. Zeng is passionate about helping her patients look and feel their best—restoring

confidence in their smiles and comfort in their everyday lives.
